About ME

My name is Igor. I am 32 years old.

I come from Russia, from Saint-Petersburg. I have been in Australia for 6 months. I live in Carlton. I came to Australia with my wife. Our parents live in Saint-Petersburg. Sydney is a beautiful city, but only the sky scrapers are of interest to me because we don't have the same buildings in Russia. Other buildings do not interest me, they are not impressive.

I like the Australian climate. The weather is sunny and warm. In Australia you don`t see snow and cold.
I have a part time job. But this work isn`t interesting, because the money isn`t enough, but this job is my first in Australia. I hope I can stay in Australia for a long period.

The Health Expo

The Health Expo was yesterday. There were many health organizations which gave us lots of informational brochures and explanations. Some of them were blood donation, the Red Cross, dental nurses, a local council gym, and even Cosmetics. These organisations could help us and our health.
I stayed with Andrea near entrance. I gave every student who came in a bag with booklets, a drinking bottle, and an application form where you could write an evaluation of the day with a stamp from each stall. With this you could win a lot of prizes.
This day was good for me, I could help to people and I had a lot of practice English language, I talked to many persons.
Girls from our class cocked national foods and sold to other students. This food was very tasty, I tried it.
